"You're late," Rukia cringed at those words, yes, she was late, for a very important litteral date... but she couldn't help it! She got caught up working.... "Yeah..." she muttered quietly, "I no...." he crossed his arms over his chest and glared at her, "I hate it wen you're late," "I'm aware of that... you aren't mad at me are you?" "Me? Mad? No!" he mocked, "Am I annoyed that you're always late? Yeah, am I irritated that you don't have the curtousy to call? Sure, but mad? No," she frowned, he was being sarcastic, "Ichigo please don't be mad, I'll try harder next time!" "The same way you tried harder this time?" he asked, getting up and leaving her alone in the coffee shop

Ichigo never yelled at her for being late, but for the next three days everything he said to her was sarcastic and cold, she had no idea he could be so cruel to anyone, least of all her, but apparently she was wrong, finally she decided to confront Ichigo about this, she just couldn't take it anymore, she just... couldn't... "Ichigo, please! Tell me if there's anything I can do to get even! Please, I want to make it up to you!" she shouted as they walked down the hall, Ichigo heading towards the washing machine, "Make it up to me... you want to be even?" he asked quietly, she nodded once, "Well Rukia, even, would be you waiting in that coffee shop for over an hour, trying to figure out were I was and wat I was doing and how long it would be before I showed up, that would be even, that'd be about square," he said coldly, she frowned, "Tell me Rukia, how do you feel right now? At this EXACT moment?" "How do I feel? Since wen do you watch Dr. Phil?" he wasn't amused, she sighed, "Alright.. I feel... mad... frustrated, kind of sad.. a little scared... a bit hurt..." "And why do you think you feel those things?" she glanced up at him but he was completly serious, "I'm mad for putting myself in this situation, I'm frustrated because I can't get out of it, I'm sad because... I miss being able to make you laugh, I miss having tickle fights, I miss .. stealing your food wen you aren't looking and being free to curl up next to you anytime I very well please.. I miss things that I never even thought I'd like in the first place..... I'm scared of never getting those things back... and I'm hurt becuase I want them back and I don't have them," he smiled lightly at her, "Anger, frustration, sadness, fear, hurt.. those are wat I felt wen I thought you stood me up," he said, crossing his arms over his chest, "So you wanted me to feel wat you were feeling so I would be on time from now on," "You catch on fast," he chuckled, she smiled very slightly at him, "So... are we ok now?" "Yeah, we're-" she gasped as she lost her footing, having not been looking were she was walking she accedentally slipped and slid down the stairs, "RUKIA!" he screamed, grabbing her hand as she fell, her legs nocked against the stairs and she held onto his arm with both hands, "Rukia, I need you to try to put your foot on the wall ok?" she nodded once and placed her foot on the wall beside her, with one arm holding her hands and ther other picking up her leg he maneged to swiftly pull her up and set her back on the grounf, "You ok?" "Y-Yeah... I think so... and since you saved me I'm guessing we're alright again?" "Tch.... to put it mildly..."

Rukia smiled and closed her eyes, snuggling up to Ichigo without hesitation, she loved this freedom, being able to do as she pleased, having her good old Ichigo back, the sweet, loving Ichigo who happily would hold her wen she wanted to sleep, not the colder person who wouldn't even glance at her, she took a moment to look up at him, seeing that he was still reading watever manga it was with one hand holding the book open, his other busy lightly running along her back, she smiled again and closed her eyes, content now and wanting to sleep
