Veins Part 2
"Just imagine you're turning into a wolf, alright?" Ichigo said, Rukia nodded once and closed her eyes, slowly, she felt a rush of sensations flood through her and the next thing she new she was looking up at her "mate to be", Ichigo smiled and nelt down to her new level, "Very good for a first time," he stated, rubbing her head, "You'll learn in time to make the transition easier, but for now let's go out and run for a wile, you need to learn how to use your new muscels," she sat paitently and waited for Ichigo to transofrm, wen she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror, she found it odd that despite Ichigo being her mate they were completly diffrent in color and size, heck... she was so much smaller that he could carry her pretty easily, "Let's go," she turned around and blinked in surprise, "Can we talk?"she asked, he stood on his hind legs and opened the door, "Not really, only to eachother, humans wouldn't understand us, they'd think we were just barking," he replied, "Let's go,"

"So Ichigo... is our pack the only one in the area?" Rukia asked as she started to run, "No... unfourtinatly, there's another pack called the Hollows," she tilted her head, "And we don't like them?" "No, you need to stay with me as much as possible, they'll do anything to kill our pack Rukia, and our pack will be easy to kill without an alpha male, so if I can have pups.... well you get the idea," "In other words they'll go after me," "Pretty much," he agreed, "That's why you have to stay close to me," she nodded once wen they came across a large mud puddle, "Don't want to jump over it?" he asked, she looked away embarressed, "I just... I don't think I can..." "It's alright, your wolf powers will come to you in time," he stated, taking a step forward and opening his mouth, "Wat are you doing?!" she sqweaked, he blinked, utterly surprised, "I'm going to carry you across ofcourse, don't be scared, wolves carry their young in their mouths all the time, it's natural I won't hurt you," "Yeah MOTHER wolves, besides I'm not a pup! I'm too big!" he just sighed and took her by the scruff of the neck, making her heart speed up, in another instant he set her down gently on the other side of the mud puddle, "Ready?" he asked, she looked away, still embarressed, and got up to start following him

Rukia followed Ichigo soon into an old warehouse, "Ichigo, I wasn't aware that you were coming in wolf form," she looked up and found a large group of people staring down at them, all of a sudden Ichigo darted away from her and into the back of the warehouse, a moment later he returned in human form, "Yeah, well I need my mate to stretch her muscels," they all looked utterly shocked, "Your MATE?! You imprinted!?" one of them asked, Ichigo nodded once and handed the young man two shirts, "Sew her something to change into will ya' Uryuu," he grumbeled about not liking being ordered around but started to sew anyway, a few minutes later he had a beautifull blue dress and a set of underwear ready for her, "Come on Rukia, I'll help you change," Ichigo said with a smirk, she growled and took the clothes from him, 'No thanks...' she thought

"Were did Ichigo go?" Rukia sqweaked, smoothing the imaginary wrinkles in her dress, a young man with glasses turned around and smiled at her, "Ah, he left to go get some things from your house for you, he said something about your brother being on vacation?" she sighed, "In other words he left me here for you to babysit me," the man tilted his head, "How long have you nowen Ichigo again?" "A day and a half..." "And you've already figured that out? Either you're extremly smart or he's worse than usual," she giggled, "I think it's a bit of both actually," she replied, taking a better look at the man, "Oh... you're the one who made this," she said, fingering the hem of her dress, "Thank you, you're very skilled to have made it with just Ichigo's shirts," he pushed his glasses up, "Not a problum," "You're um.... Uryuu right?" "That's right," she nodded once and looked around at the large group, she felt strange surges going through her with every person she looked at ... but she wasn't sure why, "Oh, so you're the one Ichigo imprinted on huh?" she looked up at a young woman with long red hair and... a chest the size of volly balls.... "Er.. yes, I'm Rukia Kuchiki," she said with a smile, the girl smiled back at her although Rukia felt something odd about this girl, the pulsating feeling was stronger with her than with anyone else, "I'm Orihime Inoue," she chimed, snapping Rukia back into reality, "I hear you're new to this so ask Uryuu anything! The Ishidas and the Kurosakis are two of the oldest tribes here," Uryuu adjusted his glasses agian, "Thanks for volenteering me Orihime," he chuckled, Rukia turned around and smiled, "Well... I do have a few questions but I haven't had time to ask Ichigo..." Uryuu smiled, "I'll answer anything that I can,"

"Ichigo mentioned another pack... a bad one," Uryuu nodded once, "The Hollows," "Why do you call them hollows?" "It's as if they have no hearts at all, as if their chests are hollow, they-" "Ichigo explained why we're enemies," "Right well.... basically our job is to keep the humans safe," "Wat if we kill all the hollows? Then wat?" "Protect humans from other things," "Oh..." she bit her lip, "I guess that makes sense... but how do we hunt them?" "We aren't at war with them... yet... if one of us run into a hollow who's hunting a human we kill them and if we need help we'll send a signal," "Signal?" "You'll no it wen you hear it, it's part of being a Shinigami," "Shinigami? I thought we were werewolves," Orihime giggled, "No no, 'Shinigami' is wat our pack is called, although Uryuu isn't really a Shinigami, he's a Quincy," now Rukia was thoroughly confused, "Quincy?" "Yeah, he's not a wolf like everyone else, he's more like... part wolf, he has heightened senses but he can't shapeshift," Rukia noticed that Uryuu seemed offended by this, "Alright next question ... are vampires real?" Uryuu nodded once, "Yes, they're allies of our's, we protect them from hollows and they protect us from rouges," "Oh... so it's not like Twilight then?" she watched most of the pack members exchange glances and burst into laughter, "Y-Y-You mena you actually READ that crock of bull!?" a tattooed Shinigami laughed, Rukia frowned, "Yes..." "Sure, if vampires sparkle we glow in the dark aye?" a female wolf laughed, Orihime put her hand on Rukia's shoulder, "Don't feel bad, they made fun of me for it too," Rukia smiled slightly, she was starting to sense a budding freindship between she and Orihime

Rukia tilted her head, apparently wen she and Ichigo left their clothes were left were they changed... on the floor... "Rukia, I'll go start dinner, you get changed alright?" she nodded once and ran upstairs, finding her new wolf muscels to not be as un-exercised as she thoguht they'd be, slowly, she entered Ichigo's room and found that, sure enough, he had brought a few suit cases of her things back from her mansion in town, smiling, she then wondered how to get into them in her wolf form....

"How did you like meeting your new pack?" Rukia shrugged and sat down at the kitchen table to watch Ichigo cook, "Alright I suppose," "Make any new freinds?" "Orihime was nice, Uryuu was too," "That's good, no one teased you did they?" she snortd, "No DAD, I had a fine time on my first day of SCHOOL," she said sarcastically, he rubbed the back of his neck, "I'm over-reacting aren't I?" "Oh just a LITTLE," he chuckled, "Sorry, I can't help it," "You no you don't have to make them babysit me Ichigo, I'm a big girl I can take care of myself," "Yeah I no... I just don't want anythiing to happen to you, that's all," she sighed quietly, "Ichigo why do you care so much? We've only nowen eachother for two days..." "So? I love you and I don't want anything to happen to you," "How can you love me? You haven't had time to develop a CRUSH on me let alone fall in love with me," "Ever heard of love at first sight?" "That's just a myth..." "Not with wolves, wolves imprint and fall in love the moment they see their mate, why? Having doubts?" "No I just... I mean... I love you but-..." "You just said you loved me, rolls right off the tounge doesn't it?" she slammed her head down on the table, "Yes... she groaned, he chuckled, "Look, this is all very new to you, don't rush or anything," she nodded slowly, "Is it possible to fall out of love with someone though? Wat if someone imprints on someone who doesn't imprint on them back? Can wolves mate other than the alpha male and alpha female? Wat about changing packs? Can-" "Woah, woah, WOAH," he said, pulling up a chair and letting the water boil on the stove, "Slow down, I can't keep up," he laughed, smiling at her, "Wat's with all these questions about love and stuff? You plannin' on ditching me or something?" he teased, "No I just.... I got all these feelings around the pack that... they made me VERY uneasy, and I no it isn't the wolf thing because I feel at peace with you, from you I feel loved and protected and happy, and I don't have all those uneasy feelings like I do around others," he tilted his head, "Explain a little more," "Well... you see... it's just... I got this feeling from some of the wolves, sadness, anger, unrequited love, I don't no how to describe it," he smiled brightly at her, "Rukia!! Do you no wat this means?!" "No...." he smiled brightly at her and cupped her face, "I new you were special... but THIS..." he leaned in and gave her a deep, slow kiss, "Rukia..."
