"Alright, we're gone," Ichigo hollered, Yuzu peeked out of the kitchen from her cookie baking, "Bye Ichigo! Bye Rukia!" she said, Karin turned the TV down for a moment, "Bye," she said, "THIIIIIIIIIRD DAAAAAAUUUUUUUGHTEEEEEEER!!!!" Isshin shouted, flying forth from the clinic, Ichigo opened the door and he flew right out, Ichigo then shut the door and made sure to lock it, "Aye... I hate this house sometimes...." he muttered, Rukia stiffled a giggle, "Wat are you laughing at Shortie?" he said, pulling his coat on and grabbing a pair of gloves, "Ah, it's just... so fun, living here with you, in my house I was never greeted a hello or a goodbye, yet your family makes a point of it," he shrugged slightly and pulled on his snowboots, "Hey, you don't think you're going out wearing THAT are you?" he asked, pointing to her green sweater and red pants, "Yeah, why?" she asked, pulling on her own boots, "Were's your coat? Gloves? Hat? Scarf?" "In case you haven't noticed Ichigo, I don't have any of that with me, my winter cloak is in Soul Society," he frowned and opened the door, once again dodging his flying-father as he crashed into the hallway and dragging Rukia out, "Come on, first things first, I'm taking you to get some winter clothes, you'll get sick going out in the snow in only that," she sighed slightly, "Yes MOTHER,"

"I like these," Rukia stated, showing Ichigo a wite coat and wite gloves matching his own, only considerably smaller and more feminine, "Rukia... do you HAVE to match me?" "It isn't because I'm matching you, it's because I like them," she replied snarkly, he just rolled his eyes, "Alright alright... but wat about a scarf?" "I'll share your's," she replied as she placed her garments on the counter, he put his hands on his hips, "Rukia, you can't do that," "Can so," "Cannot," "Can so," "Cannot," "Can so," "I'm not going to argue with you Rukia," he said, "Aww, you two make such a cute couple," the clerk said, causing both of them to forget their argument and turn around, "H-HUH!?" they said in unison, she just smiled, "You better hold onto eachother, these days true love is pretty hard to find~!" Rukia gulped, Ichigo just stared, "Er... right... true love..." Rukia muttered, noticing that Ichigo did nothing to deny the statement

"Oh crap... that girl distracted us and I forgot to get you a scarf..." Ichigo muttered as they walked out of the store, Rukia, now wearing her gloves and coat, rolled her eyes and shook her head, "Big deal, I don't need one," she said with a smirk, he sighed and unwrapped his own scarf, tieing part of it around her, she frowned, "You're WAY too confident Rukia, you might not get sick much in Soul Society but in the living world there's a ton of disease," he stated, she looked away childishly, he sighed slightly, "Alright, come on Rukia, that took longer than I thought, we can just get some lunch at the mall," she snickered, "Yeah, THAT'S healthy," "I'm a Soul Reaper, it's ALOT of exercise being me, I deserve to eat junk food every once in a wile," "That's true but you eat it constantly," he rolled his eyes, "And anyway, you seem snarky-ier than usual today, someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" he teased, "No!" she replied, "I just have to go to Urahara's later and I'm annoyed, it's on the other side of town so I can't spend as long shopping with you as I would like, I thought it'd be fun to spend the day relaxing together since the war just ended and all, but... I guess that won't happen..." he shrugged, "I'll come with you, I don't mind having to go across town," she blinked, "Really? You'll be pretty tired of walking, between the shopping and this," "No I won't, but you seem to forget, the mall and my house aren't far from eachother, we can drop off our bags and I'll take you to Hat N' Clogs on my bike," "O-Oh... alright,"

Rukia bit her lip, suppressing a chill that ran through her body, "You alright Rukia?" Ichigo asked as they started into the mall, "Y-Yeah... it's just... my hands are still kind of cold, they won't warm up even though I'm wearing gloves, it's weird," she said, he grabbed her hands in both of his and rubbed them together, making Rukia blush, "That should help," he said, letting go of one hand and starting to walk again, 'Does he.... remember that we're holding hands...?' she wondered, as the two of them continued to walk they happened to pass by a couple, "Hmph! Katsuki why can't you hold hands with me like he's doing with her?!" the girl complained, pointing to Ichigo and Rukia, and causing them both to turn QUITE red, "Ah don't be that way Mio, we just started dating yesterday! We aren't as ... coupl-y as they are yet!" the man replied, chasing after his soon-to-be ex-girlfreind, Rukia stood stunned for a moment before jerking on Ichigo's hand, "C-Come on... I want to hurry and get to the cafe for hot chocolate," she lied, trying to keep the awkward level down

"Um, Ichigo, can I ask you something?" Rukia asked, the entire time they had been at the mall people had been commenting about how much they looked like a couple weather to their faces or not, the same had happened on their way to Urahara's, "Yeah?" he asked as they walked home, "Well.... does us looking like a couple bother you?" he stared down at her for a moment, "Well... actually..." all of a sudden something very cold hit him in the back of the head, he looked over his shoulder and saw a little kid who looked scared for his life, "O-Ops... s-sorry Mister! I-I was aiming for someone else!" the kid said, racing off in another direction, "Little brat..." he muttered, "Ichigo~!" "Wat?" he turned back around and found another snow ball in his face, this time compliments to Rukia, she giggled and rushed off, "Hey! Get back here you midget!!"

She yipped slightly as another snowball flung at the back of her head, "You. Are. MEAN!" she laughed, picking up a wad of snow and crumpling it into a ball to throw at him, he tried to duck but it ended up splatting against his forehead, he wiped the extra snow off with the back of his hand and sighed, "I'm tired, let's call a truce," he said, flopping down in the snow, she stood over him with a giant ball of snow, "No, let's say I win and I won't drop this on you," he frowned, "Fine fine you win," he muttered bitterly, she tossed the icey thing aside and flopped down next to him, "Hey, Rukia?" "Hm?" she yawned, giving her aching limbs a break and letting the cool snow absorb her overheated body, who new shopping and a snowball fight exerted more energy than fighting hollows? "About wat you asked me earlier, the answer is no, it doesn't bother me," he said, ".... But.... Does it bother you?" "No, it doesn't bother me at all," she replied, "Ok then," there was a short pause, "Rukia I... I actually thought it was kind of cool that people thought we were a couple," she turned on her side and smiled, "You too?" "Yeah..." "I think... maybe.. being a couple would be a good idea... you?" he smiled slightly and turned on his side as well, "Rukia," he said, twirling a strand of her hair in his fingers, "I... I really, really love you Rukia," he wispered, she blushed and before she could reply he had pressed his lips against her's, she closed her eyes and he laid on his back, she broke away from him for a moment wen they both heard rapid footsteps coming their way, thinknig fast, Rukia closed her eyes and flopped down, pretending to be asleep, Ichigo looked up, seeing Orihime, Uryuu, Renji, and Chad each in a diffrent color standing over them, Renji crossed his arms over his chest, "Wat are you two doing?" he asked, Ichigo frowned, "Uhhhh...." Rukia leaned up slightly, wispering so that only Ichigo could hear her, "I love you too Ichigo," she said
