Queen Of Hearts
One: Missing
Ichigo yawned quietly and stretched, his muscles flexing and shifting underneath his skin in a staisfying manner, he rubbed his eyes and blinked a few times before opening them fully, he felt so... sleepy.. so relaxed... he sat up and rubbed the back of his neck, swinging his legs over the side of the bed and stumbling towards his closet, he grabbed some clean clothes and started towards the bathroom only to run into Yuzu, "Ichigo have you seen Rukia? I can't find her anywhere," she said with a frown, he blinked, "Hm? No Yuzu I haven't, have you tried calling her?" he asked, she nodded, "Yeah but she isn't picking up," he blinked, "Hm.. that's odd... I'll go look for her then after my shower, I'm sure she's ok Yuzu," he said with a small, rassuring smile

"RANGIKU!!" A very angry, very mad, very FUMING captain of Squad Ten ran down the hall at the speed of light, he had just gotten his credit card bill... and at incidentally the same time he had also received word that none of the forms he had turned into his leuitenit last week had been done and thus there would be a serious financial cut to the squad... amoung other things, was it now easy to see why he was so angry? "RANGIKU!!!" he screamed again as he forced open the doors to her office, as he expected, everything was untouched, it was like she hadn't been there on days! 'No doubt racking up more bills or at home with a hang over...' he thought bitterly, snatching the phone off of the hook he dialed the number to Squad Eight so he could ask Nanao for a favour in tracking her down in case the Women's Association knew anything

*ring*ring*ring*ring*ring* A groan escaped his lips as Shunsui slowly came back into conciousness, he yawned and hiccuped once as he slowly sat up and made a mental note to ask Nanao where she kept the breath mints.. being that even he was offended by his breath at the moment, his attention then turned to the ringing device that had awoken him from his sleep and he fumbled around to take hold of the phone, "Hello?" he grunted quietly, "Captain Kyoraku, this is Captain Hitsugaya, I need to speak with Leuitenit Ise right now," he heard, "Oh hey Toshiro, what do you need Nanao for?" "My own leuitenit is missing and I'm hoping that your's has some clue as to where she is, if not I'll have to develop a task force to find her," Shunsui leaned back in his seat and looked out the window, "A task force? Now is that really necicairiy?" "It is of the HIGHEST priority given the pappers that were just put on my desk," the captain of Squad Eight sighed and rubbed his eyes, "Alright alright... let me go get her, I bet she's in her office," he said, putting the phone on his desk and walking out of his office and down the halls of the Squad Eight barracks into Nanao's "Oh my sweet Nanao~~!!" he called, swinging the door open and staring with complete and utter surprise at the fact that the office... was empty.. no Nanao, no pappers, not even a note! "Now that's odd.."

"Ah, it's truly so nice to have a day of peace," Yumichika said with a content sigh, Ikkaku huffed from beside him and glared as the brunett drank his tea, "Yeah... it's quiet alright, too quiet, if you ask me, in fact, I'm starting to wonder where-" "YACHIRU!!!" both men jerked forward and looked over their shoulders at their captain as the huge man looked around the barracks frantically, "Captain Zaraki? What on earth is the matter?" Yumichika asked, "Not now you pansy! I'm looking for Yachiru!" he hollered as he ran past them, Ikkaku and Yumichika stared at eachother for a long moment before going back to what they were previously doing

"Sh-Shino!! Shino where are you!?" Yuki shouted as he ran around in circles again, he groaned and bit his nails, he and Shino were supposed to be training for the last three hours, now he had woken up late and was terrified that Shino had just given up on him and left him standing there, "Shino please! I'm sorry I was late!" he hollered as he continued looking around the squad barracks, "Hm? Yuki? What are you doing here? Aren't you and Shino supposed to be training?" he heard, wipping his head around and rubbing the back of his neck, "A-Ah..! Fifth-Seat Mr. Airy! Sorry I'm just looking for Sino.. I can't find her," he replied, Airy blinked and tilted his head, "Well that's pretty weird.. I haven't seen her anywhere either.. huh... I wonder were she could be..." he mused, scratching his head in contemplation

"Captain!! Hey Captain!!" Omeada hollered as he trapsed down the halls of the Squad 2 barracks munching on rice crackers and getting crumbs on the floor, "Hey Captain! The little worms from the academy are here for training! Where are you!? I hope you're not sticking ME with the little worms!" he shouted as he shoved the door open to her office and blinked, looking around, "Huh? Captain?" he asked wearily, it was really quite strange that the small woman wasn't in her office like she usually was....

"Aw man it REALLY sucks, I can't believe you two did that," Renji said with a heavy sigh as he helped lug Izuru and Shuhei into the Squad Four barracks, both moaning and groaning from their hang overs and as a consequence Renji had gotten his hand broken- long story, don't ask- "ISANE!! Captain Unohana!!" Renji shouted as the three slugged through the barracks, "Quiet PLEASE! The captain and leuitenit are both out at the moment!" the third seat said as he came towards them, Renji blinked, "Where would they be...?"

"Just wait until I find that useless dog! Once I get my hands on her she'll be begging to be reconstructed!" Mayuri shouted in aggrivation as he shoved another door open, "AKON! Have you seen Nemu!? I'm going to tear out her innards for being late once I find her!" he shouted, Akon looked up from his lit cigerette and shook his head, "Nope, I haven't seen her anywhere Captain," he replied, his captain slammed the door shut and grumbled as he walked away, but now that it was mentioned... it WAS odd that no one had seen her...

"Yo! Hat N' Clogs!" Ichigo shouted as he stomped into the small candy shop, "Why Ichigo, what brings you here on this lovely spring day~?" asked the shopkeeper as he waved his papper fan in front of his face, "I can't find Rukia, you have any idea where she might be?" he replied as he looked around the shop, Urahara shook his head, "Sorry but no, I don't, as a matter of fact though Yoruichi isn't around either, I do wonder if perhaps something is going on?" he suggested, Ichigo sighed, "Well only one way to find out, open up a gate Hat N' Clogs, let's get going to Soul Society," he suggested, Urahara smirked and snapped his fan shut, "Way ahead of you my freind, the gate is waiting downstairs~"

"What... what's going on here?" Ichigo wispered as he looked around Soul Society, it was like some sort of apocolypse had occured! The streets were filled with people- more accurately men- arguing and shouting, eating weird things, throwing things, acting like all-out barbarians! Ichigo didn't know what kind of wormhole he just stepped into but it was making him seriously regret waking up that morning... "Where are all the girls?" he asked quietly, ofcourse it was rhteorical as there was no way the squabbling, testostorone-filled creatures could hear him or even bother to care if they had, looking around, he decided that there HAD to be some order to this anarchy, it couldn't just go on like that! With a sigh, he spotted a milk crate in the middle of the crowd and walked towards it, climbing up onto it, he cleared his throat and let out a very loud "HEY!!", after drawing everyone's attention, he cleared his throat again and stared out at the crowd, "Hello, I think we have a problum here! Where are all the women!?" when he was met with nothing but blank stares he rolled his eyes and started again, "Have even ONE of you seen ONE woman today?!" again no answer, "I thought not, look, there's something going on here and we need to figure out what it is!" he exclaimed, "Ichigo Kurosaki is correct," they heard, turning to see Byakuya walking towards them, "I am afraid that the women HAVE dissapeared, it is our job to find out where they are and to track them, to bring them back safely, my fear however is that we will have a difficult time without them," he explained, "It means we're all going to have to work together much more than usual," Ichigo explained, "Correct, now if all the captains and leuitenits will gather in the meeting hall, we can further discuss our next step," he said, turning and beginning to leave, "Ichigo Kurosaki, Kisuke Urahara, this includes you as well," Ichigo nodded once and hopped down from his milk crate, "Mm, alright," he agreed as they began to follow Byakuya, 'Rukia... I hope you're alright...' he thought as the group of men traveled through Seireitei into the meeting hall
