"RUKIA!" The moment Ichigo was free from his battle with Aizan and he was sure the creep was good and dead he rushed for his partner, "Rukia! Rukia! Rukia!" he screamed, looking at her nearly dead figure beneath the light of Orihime's powers, he saw the latter woman's troubeled face and nitted his brows, "Wat's wrong? She isn't healing ... is she?" she shook her head, "I don't understand it, I'm putting all my effort into healing her but nothing is changing!" Ichigo gritted his teeth, "She isn't going to die!" he re-assured himself, "She won't! I won't let her!" "But I don't no wat to do..." "Excuse me, but I think I can help," Ichigo looked up to see a young woman with shoulder-length brown hair, she too was injured but not nearly as badly as they were, "How can I save Rukia?" the young woman offered him her hand, "I'm Momo Hinamori, I'm kind of an expert at Kido," he stood up, "Let's see wat you can do then," she shook her head, "I can't do it though, you have to," he blinked, "Me? Why me?" "Because you have such overwelming reistsu, I no of a technique that will work but it's hardly used anymore because no one has the reistsu for it, you do though so you can use it," "Wat is it?" "It's called a resistsu transfer, it's kind of like a blood transfusion only with reistsu instead of blood," "How do I do it?" she leaned down next to Rukia, "First you have to take your zanpokto and stab her-" "No," "It's the only way, I no it'll be hard but you have no other choice, the reason she isn't healing is because all Kido and anything simaler to Kido, like the power you were using," she gestured to Orihime, "uses reistsu, she has hardly any left in her body and certainly not enough to revive the injurieries that were made," he sighed, "Wat then?" "Then you have to hold your hands over the new wound and force reistsu into it, I no it'll seem like you're hurting her but you're not, you have to ignore her wile you do this or you won't be able to, reistsu transferells are very painfull for the one tranferring the reistsu, as well as the one receiving it," he gulped and nodded, Orihime moved away, he clenched his teeth, "Ichigo," Rukia wimpered in her sleep, that was enough to send him over the edge, "I'm sorry Rukia," he wispered to her, taking Tensa Zangetsu and slowly driving it through her chest, a scream ripped from her throat and blood poured out from the newly forming wound, "I'm sorry Rukia," he repeated, taking the sword out of her and covering his hands over her chest, the feel of her blood rushing under his hands was killing him and he started to force reistsu into her, another scream and she unconciously tried to move away from him, "I-I can't keep doing this! I'm hurting her!" he started to pull away but Momo stopped him, "No, you aren't, it's just difficult for her body to adjust to the intake, you have to keep going until the bleeding from this injurery has stopped, that was the point in making the wound in the first place, wen the bleeding stops you can stop," he gritted his teeth, sqweazing his eyes shut, trying to block out Rukia's pained cries, the movement under him stopped and he opened one eye to see Orihime, Momo, and now Uryuu and Renji, who had been watching from a distance, were holding Rukia down as she convulsed, he continued to shove reistsu into her despite the sickening screams and convulsions, "I'm sorry," he continued to wisper, finally after another few agonizing moments the screaming and convulsing stopped and he was able to make the transferral in peace
Ichigo watched as Orihime healed Rukia with ease, "I no that was hard," Ichigo looked up at Renji, "I wouldn't have been able to do it, so thanks for saving Rukia," he nodded, "Ok, she's all finished," Orihime stated, wiping the sweat from her brow, "Thanks Orihime," Ichigo stated, "Listen, taking care of someone after a reistsu transfer is critical, her body is already showing sighns of difficulty adjusting to the new reistsu, so it's important to monitor her carefully," he nodded, "Not a problum," he said, gently picking her up, "Thank you both very much for helping me save her,"
"Ichigo quit it," he blinked at her, "Quit wat?" "Quit treating me like this, I'm perfectly fine, you're over-reacting!" "I am NOT over-reacting Rukia, I was given SPECIFIC instructions to keep an eye on you and that's wat I'm doing," "well that's fine but still, this is a bit much.." she mumbeled as he gave her pillow one more wack and placed it behind her, "You don't have to keep babying me like this..." "It isn't a problum Rukia, really," Rukia sighed and leaned back, picking up her book and begining to read, "So..." she put down her manga and looked at him, "So um ... you're really feeling ok?" "Yes Ichigo, you've been taking excellent carte of me, I feel great, really," he nodded once, "In that case, do you mind if I ask you for a favour?" she shook her head, "Not at all, I owe you anyway," he nitted his eyebrows, "No Rukia, you do NOT owe me ANYTHING," he corrected, she shrugged in response, "Wat is it?" "Well .... can you transfer a little bit of your reistsu to me?" her face dropped, "Why would you want me to do that?" he looked down, "I just ... I'm part of you now, and I want you to be part of me," she smiled softly, "You have ALWAYS been part of me Ichigo," "Yeah but-" "Ichigo, you don't need my reistsu for me to be part of you, do you?" he shook his head, "Well no but-" she put her finger on his lips and kissed him sweetly, "Ichigo after the past few days, I am sure we agree about this, right?" he nodded, "Yeah, ok, fine," he replied, before kissing her back
