Chapter 1: Intro
"Raaaaaaveeeen~~~" Beastboy called as he sprang into the main room and hung his arms over the couch, "What?" she asked with a sigh, "..What are you doing?" "Reading," "...Where are everyone else?" "Cyborg is in the garage and Robin and Starfire are in the gym," "Huh... so I guess they won't be back for a wile?" he asked, "...I guess..." "And so that means we have this room to ourselves for a little bit?" "...I guess...." "Great! You know why?" "I'm afraid to ask," "DANCING!" he shouted as he shoved a video game in her face, she lowered her book and looked at it before sighing and moving so that she was away from him, "No," she replied, "What?! Why not?!" "I don't dance Beastboy," "Only because you're shy and don't like doing it in front of people, but no one is around now so we can play!" he said excitedly as he waved the dance game in front of her, she grunted and went back to reading, "Come on Raven please!? You've only played it with me once!" "And that was on your birthday when I felt obligated to," she replied, "Please Raven?! It was so much fun then! I have the most fun dancing with YOU out of everyone here! Please!?" she sighed and closed her eyes, "Beastboy I don't LIKE dancing, and I don't feel like it right now anyway, I just want some peace and quiet," he thought for a moment, "Hey Raven?" "WHAT?" "You know how you've been wanting to teach me chess? Well... if you play ONE round of this with me, I'll play a game of chess with you," she closed her book and raised her eyebrows, "You swear?" "Yes," "And this isn't a trick?" "No," "And NO ONE is watching?" "I don't think so..." she sighed and reluctantly got up, taking her cloak off, "Alright let's do this," he screamed in delight and ran to put it in the game console, "What song do you want to do to warm up? 'Evacuate The Dance Floor'? 'Disturbia'?" he asked, "Hm.. how about that one by the Pussycat Dolls? Or 'Say Aah', something like that," she suggested, he looked at her curiously as he put the disk in the tray, "Those are a little.. uh... I don't-" right before the game could slide into the player the alarm sounded off and Robin and Starfire ran into the room with Cybrog close behind, "Titans! Robbery at the museum! Let's go!" Beastboy pouted, "Aw man..."

"FREEZE!" Robin shouted as he and the other Titans burst into the museum, in front of them holding a brown bag slung over their shoulder was the robber, a person dressed from head to toe in black wearing a black mask, they basically looked like a ninja, "Titans! Go!" Robin shouted, he immediately shot a birdarang at the robber and the person brought their hands in front of them, leaving the bag slung across their back, all of a sudden something hit Robin in the back and he fell to the floor, "Robin!" Starfire shouted, rushing towards him, "Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!" Raven shouted, successfully restraining the robber for the time being, "Freinds! Robin was hit with what appears to be quartz!" Starfire cried, thus distracting Raven from her hold on the robber, "What?" she wispered as she turned her head, the robber soon broke free and brought their hands up, their hands started to glow a bright yellow and suddenly another large peice of quartz was dragged from a corner and towards Raven, but luckily the empath saw it coming and was able to stop it in it's tracks, the robber then started running towards the door, only to be blocked by Beastboy who was standing in front of them as a cheetah, the cheetah then shifted into a huge bear and he roared, standing on his hind legs, the robber backed up a few inches and Raven soon was able to regain her hold on the assailaint, Beastboy then turned into a monkey and ripped the mask off of the person's face... only to reveal long blond hair and feminine features.... "Terra...." Beastboy wispered as he turned back into a human and took a step back, it was Terra alright, or atleast it looked like her, her eyes, her face, everything was the same... except for her hair, she had her long blonde hair pulled up into a ponytail so that it wasn't covering her eyes at all, "Terra?!" Cyborg shouted in surprise, "Why?" Terra narrowed her eyes and frowned, "I'm sorry Beastboy.. but I have to do this!" "Why!? What are you doing!? How long have you be-" "I'm sorry... but I can't say much, only that by the time my plan is complete, this world will be better... it'll be better for all of us! Metahumans like us... we'll be accepted, we'll be thought of as a higher power instead of tossed around and treated like trash! You just have to let me finish my plan!" she shouted hopefully, Beastboy shook his head slowly, "How.. Terra... how could you do this!? How could you do this to ME?! AGAIN?! I ... I thought you were going to be good... I thought you were on my side!" he shouted, "I AM being good, and if anyone wants to join me you're welcome to," "Whatever plan you have in mind is not worth stealing something," Robin spoke up, Terra frowned at him and turned back to Beastboy, "Come with me BB, it'll be us, just you and me," she offered, he shook his head slowly, "Terra... why can't you just be one of us again!? Why do you have to do this?!" "Because I'm tired of being treated like a freak! I'm tired of people thinking that you're only cool when you use your 'freak powers' as a superhero! I want that stigma to end! I want us to be equal!" "And doing this will never make us equal to anyone!" Robin shouted, she glared at him, "How would you know!? You don't have superpowers!" she shouted angerly, turning to Beastboy again, "I'm sorry B... but I have to do this," "No you don't! Terra that promise you made me.. I thought... I thought you were going to keep it... why can't you just stick by me!? Why!?" "Because I have more important things to do, I'm sorry Beastboy, but this is something I HAVE to do," she said, bursting free of Raven's weakening hold and bringing another large crystal forth to distract them before fleeing the scene, "TERRA!!!" Beastboy shouted desperately as he ran to the window, looking out and seeing that she was no where to be found, "Terra..." he wispered, everyone was silent for a long moment, no one quite sure what to say... "Freind Beastboy... it shall all be ok again..." Starfire said quietly as she floated over to him, he turned and stalked off, "No it won't Star, Terra left- AGAIN, she's being controlled! We have to find who's doing this and... and..." "Beastboy," Raven interrupted, "Terra was doing this of her own free will, not out of control," "No... no that's not true!" he shouted, "It IS Beastboy... I didn't sense anyone anywhere near her mind, I-" "I'd know if she was being controlled Raven and she wasn't! Why would she keep apologizing if she was?! And.. and what she said... she.. she deliberatly robbed this place so we would come here! She wanted us to find her, to HELP her!" "Beastboy, I know this is hard, when you love someone and lose them you can't think clearly, but please, just try to see log-" "How would YOU know what this feels like!?" he shouted suddenly, glaring at her, "You could never know how this feels! You've never loved anyone and no one has ever loved you either so how would you know how much this hurts?!" he shouted, she shrank back and Robin stepped forward, "That's enough Beastboy! We all know what happened with Terra and it-" "No you don't!" he screamed, clutching his head, there was a long pause before he looked back up at them, "I'm going back home, see you there," he said, transforming into a bird and taking off through the doors, there was another long pause wen Robin turned to Raven, "Raven... you know he didn't mean it," he said quietly, Raven shook her head, "I'm alright Robin, really, let's just get this over with, the negativity in here is killing me," she offered, he nodded slowly, "Do we know what she stole?" he asked, Raven nodded once, "This," she replied, pointing to an empty case, Robin tilted his head, "A necklace? She came all this way to steal a necklace?" "Not just ANY necklace, an ancient Indian Bloodsstone necklace," she replied, "So? What's so special about that?" Cyborg asked, "Bloodstone is very powerfull to those who work with their minds like Terra and I do, it has a strong effect on psyonic energy, especially in the case of telekenetics and the like, Terra is a geokenetic, so what stones help telekenetics likely help her, in addittion to this it's from India, a few hundred years ago, I remember hearing about this necklace when they first dug it up last year... it's supposed to possess unbeleivable power and was supposedly blessed by a High Preistess when it was first created but it was burried due to some sort of natural disaster," she explained, "And why would Terra need somethign like this?" Raven put her hood up, "To get stronger, and if she's trying this hard to get stronger that means there's something she's preparing for- something like a battle... or a war," she explained
