I loved times like these with Ichigo

Peacefull times when it was just us and no one else in the world existed

I liked it

It made me feel closer to him than I already was

Just simple things like this, going to the bookstore together over Spring Break and getting some new manga

Or not being able to reach the top shelf and having Ichigo get my book for me

It was nice

Until someone interrupted us...

"Oh! Rukia!"

They both turned around and Rukia smiled

"Orihime! Hi!" she greeted, waving at the Canary-woman

Ichigo tilted his head and blinked

"Oh, is that your PET?" Orihime asked, pointing in Ichigo's direction

Rukia smiled and nodded proudly

"Yep! He's MY PET alright! ALL MINE," she giggled

Ichigo gulped, hearing the possession in her voice that normally wasn't there

"He's so....."

"Yes, he is,"

"And in person he's even more-"

"Yep, that's him,"

Ichigo smiled lightly at the other woman and held his hand out

"It's nice to meet you! Rukia talks about you non-stop!" Orihime said, shaking his hand

He purred lightly at her and Rukia tightly gripped his other hand

"Well I'd LOVE to stay Orihime but Ichigo and I have to go meet my brother, I'll see you later," she waved, tugging him along

He purred questionably at her and she sighed

"She IS my freind but ever since she saw your picture she's been trying to bribe me into letting her buy your contract so I don't want you around her much....."

He felt extremly embarressed by this and never brought it up again
