100 Ways To Be Romantic 31-40
(And why they will or won't work for Ichigo and Rukia)
(A/N: For the purpose of this story I have written the status of their relationship because it does alot of jumping around, but most of these can be used through all stages of their romance)


31. Write poetry for eachother
(Relationship status: Dating)
Rukia bit her tounge, she hated this, it was a school project to write a poem "from her heart", she had written it and now she had to show it to Ichigo, ofcourse she would get to see his but still, it was a bit embarresing for him to no how head-over-heels she was for him, after exchanging poems the two began reading, wich lead to blushing and a long, awkward silence, Rukia coughed for effect, "...... I never want to see poetry again," "I think I'll be spending a few months before cracking open another Shakespere book...."
(Does it work? Nope! Better left to the romance writers)

32. Kiss/smell her hair
(Relationship status: Married)
Rukia slowly put her book down and glanced over at her husband, who had a chunk of her hair in his hand loosely, "Why are you sniffing me?" she drawled, he smiled, "I'm smelling your hair Love," "Yes, wich begs my question; Why?" "Because it smells like strawberries and mango," she sighed, "You really can't get enough of me can you?" "Not really," she shrugged and went back to her book
(Does it work? For Ichigo it does)

33. Hugs are the universal medicine

"Are you feeling any better Rukia?" the strawberry received a groan in response, he sighed and sat next to her, he hated it that she was sick, he hated it even more that she was not only sick, but miserable too, he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "Here," he wispered, picking her up and putting her on top of him, then proceeding to rub her back as he held her, after a few minutes a quiet sigh escaped her lips, "Mmmmm, I'm starting to feel better  now...."

34. Say "I Love You" only wen you mean it and make sure they no you mean it

"I love you Rukia, goodnight," she sighed, "Why do you always say that?" she wispered, "Uh.... because I want you to have a good night's sleep?" "Not that," "That I love you?" she nodded once, "Because I do, why? Don't you believe me wen I say it?" she smiled and snuggled closer to him, "It's not that, it's just .... really nice to hear so much...." he smiled and kissed her cheek, "I'm glad then," "Ichigo?" "Hm?" "Goodnight, I love you,"

35. Give random gifts of flowers/candy/poetry etc.

Ichigo smirked as he tiptoed into the house,  he looked around and did not see his wife, his smirk grew as he dug a vase out of one of the cabinets and ran some water into it, then placed a bouqet of red roses in the vase and waited for his wife to tumbel down the stairs, "Ichigo are you home?" "I'm in here!" she padded into the kitchen, "Wat are you doing in here?" "I bought you roses Honey, I was putting them in a vase," she smiled, "That's so sweet!" she smelled the flowers, "Awww, you're so sweet, wat on EARTH did you do?" "Why did I have to DO something? Couldn't I have just bought you these out of the fact that I love you and wanted to give you something," "Then wat's with the randomness?" "I was thinking about you on the way home!"  she leaned up and kissed his cheek, "Well, watever you did fix it or burry it in the backyard, you've got me buttered up enough that I don't care," he stood, gaping like a fish, at her comment, "And by the way, I got you something too," "Oh?" "Yeah, I'll give you a hint, it's silk," he smiled, "Watever you broke fix it or burry it in the bakyard!" he laughed, chasing her upstairs

36. Tell her that she's the only girl you'll ever want and don't lie

"Rukia?" "Hm?" "You're the only one I'll ever want," she quirked an eyebrow, "Wat brought that up?" "Oh I just wanted to tell you," "Ok.... that's weird...." she stated

37. Give her the "Spa Treatment"

"Rukia?" "Hm?" he paused, "Have you ever had a manicure?" ".... No..." "Peticure?" "... Again that would be a no..." "Facial?" "NO!" he was quiet for a moment so she went back to her reading, "Would you like to have one?" she decided she wouldn't end up reading anymore right now so she put her book down, "One wat?" "A manicure, peticure, facial, anything like that?" she sighed, "Not really," "Are you sure?" "Yes Ichigo I am sure, are you trying to hint around to saying that I NEED one?" "N-N-N-NO!!!! You look perfect!" "Then stop pushing me," "I'm not it's just... well ... I hear that girls really like that stuff, so-" "So you wanted to do something for me that you think I'll like," "Exactly," she smiled slightly, "That's sweet, really, but no thanks, although..." "Although wat?" "I CERTAINLY wouldn't mind if you gave me a nice back massage," he smiled, "Ofcourse,"

38. Tell her that she doesn't have to do anything she doesn't want to. And mean it.

"Rukia? Wat's wrong?" she sighed, "Nothing is wrong..." she wispered, he nitted his brows, "Rukia," he said sternly, "..... The Kuchiki elders want me to get married to some stupid noble," she mumbeled, he gritted his teeth, "Why can't they accept that I'M dating you?!" "I don't no..." "Rukia just ignore them," "I can't," "Look you don't have to do anything you don't want to do," "Yes I do, the Kuchikis are my family, I have-" "No you don't! If there's anything you don't want to do you don't have to do it," "They'll make me..." "I'll stop them," she let a small smile slip over her lips, "Rukia, I'll protect you, I won't let them force you into anything, just trust in that ok? Trust me," she smiled and nodded once, "I do trust you, thanks," "Wat are boyfreinds for?"

39. Look into eachother's eyes

Rukia stared deeply into Ichigo's eyes and he stared deeply back into her's, 'Break dang it! BREAK!' she thought, finally, Ichigo blinked, Rukia laughed, "I win! I win! You have to make me a romantic dinner! Hahahahaha!" she laughed, 'Stupid staring contest....' he thought

40. Very lightly push up her chin, look into her eyes, tell her you love her, and kiss her lightly.

Rukia groaned, "Wat's wrong?" she looked beside her at her orange-haired companion, "Nothing much, just tired, and I'm a bit sore from all that shopping with Orihime yesterday," he nodded and stood up, "Turn over," he demanded, she arched an eyebrow, "Make me!" he shrugged, "Ok," he very lightly pushed her chin up, looked into her eyes, told her "I love you," and kissed her lightly, she would have fainted if she weren't already laying down, he smirked and gently flipped her over to begin massaging her back, "Jeez..." she muttered between moans, "No wonder my freinds are jealouse...."
